As an Occupational Therapist at Encompass Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines
• Effectively delegating tasks and supervising occupational therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintaining open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met

Credentials:

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Current state licensure or certification (or obtain it before the first day of employment)
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program (or one determined to be substantially equivalent)
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
• Demonstrated competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
