In this role, you will work closely with patients and utilize the latest technologies to provide one-on-one care. You will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy treatments according to professional guidelines and hospital policies. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of patients recovering from various conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injuries, joint replacements, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively delegate tasks and supervise occupational therapist assistants and technicians.
• Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification as an occupational therapist.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited therapy program.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Demonstrated competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
