Encompass Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene in Abilene, TX. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions. Job Details:

• Full Time and PRN positions available
• Effectively delegate tasks and supervise occupational therapist assistants and technicians
• Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification required
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree from an accredited therapy program or equivalent
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
• Competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
