• Job Shift: Shift 3 (12-hour day or night shifts)
• Shift Details: Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ for a duration of 12 months
• Receive specialized clinical education in your assigned specialty area
• Gain hands-on training and processing clinical experiences
• Attend classroom sessions to share experiences and receive additional education
• Incorporate evidence-based practice into your nursing care
• Demonstrate clinical autonomy and critical thinking in patient care
• Collaborate with inter-professional healthcare team members

Requirements:

• Graduate of a school of nursing or soon-to-be graduate
• Active State of CT RN license (new graduates may start employment under Graduate Nurse license status)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain department-specific certifications
