Hartford HealthCare is offering a Nurse Residency program for newly licensed nurses to successfully transition into clinical practice. With our commitment to supporting your professional nursing journey, we have partnered with the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ to provide resources, mentorship, and hands-on training. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to specialize in Med/Surg/Telemetry, Emergency, or Operating Room, receiving focused clinical education and engaging in classroom sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.

• Standard Hours: 36
• Job Shift: Shift 3 (12-hour day or night shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays)

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a nursing school (Soon to be graduates are welcome to apply!)
• Experience: New RN Graduate Nurses or newly licensed RNs
• License and Certification:
  • Active State of CT RN license (New graduates may start employment under Graduate Nurse license status with pending license)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications
