Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT) as part of a clinical care team to deliver in-home care services.
• Perform comprehensive health assessments, diagnose, and treat complex illnesses.
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures.
• Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice.
• Accurately and thoroughly document patient encounters.
• Analyze test data, arrange appropriate follow-up care, and educate patients and families on managing their health.
• Effectively communicate with patients, family members, primary care providers, and other individuals involved in the patient's care.
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in relevant areas such as the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or other relevant fields.
• Graduated with an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Nationally board certified.
• Current BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
