Hartford HealthCare's Behavioral Health Network is dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction. Our newly established residential addiction treatment facility, The Ridge, offers a well-resourced 36-bed program with 17 detox beds. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at The Ridge, you will have the support of the entire integrated system of Hartford HealthCare, as well as the Rushford network.
Responsibilities
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting physical exams for newly admitted patients
- Managing the medical care of patients during their stay
- Providing psychiatric evaluations
- Prescribing and managing medication
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner: Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist with an active CT DEA/CT Controlled Substance license
- Physician Assistant: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C) certificate and PA-C designation
- CPR certification required
