Summary:
Join our team at Hartford HealthCare, a leading healthcare provider in Connecticut and Rhode Island. We are currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Cardiology team. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients in the inpatient setting, working collaboratively with our team of physicians to deliver high-quality cardiology care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the inpatient setting, collaborating with physicians in the areas of noninvasive, interventional, structural heart, electrophysiology, and heart failure
- Identify emergent diagnostic information and communicate it to physician colleagues in a timely manner
- Prescribe, dispense, and administer therapeutic and corrective measures within the Advanced Practitioner scope of practice
- Exhibit a strong passion for cardiology and adaptability in a rapidly growing institute
- Work full-time day shifts, Monday to Friday, with one weekend a month and no nights/overnights
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant Master's Program
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Connecticut
- Experience in cardiology preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
