  • Standard Hours: 40
  • Job Shift: Shift 1 (Monday-Friday)
  • Shift Details: Daytime schedule with no weekends or holidays
  • Location: St. Vincent's Hospital

As an Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider, you will have the opportunity to serve a large population with a variety of complex endocrine disorders. Our team takes a comprehensive approach toward diabetes, wellness, and prevention, ensuring a timely and seamless transition from inpatient care to outpatient services. Responsibilities

  • Provide bedside consults for patients with complex endocrinology disorders, specializing in diabetes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Use tailored EPIC templates to document patient encounters
  • Support seamless transition from inpatient care to outpatient services
  • Participate in mentorship and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

  • Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP)
  • Prior experience in endocrinology/diabetes preferred
