Responsibilities:

  • Manage patients through new consults, post-operative follow-ups, and inpatient care transitions
  • Perform in-office procedures, including excisions, drainages, and wound care
  • Assist with system quality initiatives
  • Opportunity for operating room time

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Master’s program preferred
  • Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in Connecticut
  • Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
  • Previous surgical experience in plastics, general, or colorectal surgery preferred
