Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of the Emergency Department, the Nurse Manager is responsible for effectively managing patient care and operations in the designated unit. You will have the authority to make decisions regarding patient care, human resources, and financial management in collaboration with the Director. This is a leadership role requiring a minimum of five years of recent acute care nursing experience, including previous nursing leadership experience and a current RN license in the State of Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in the State of Connecticut
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Minimum five years of recent, progressive acute care nursing experience
• Emergency Department experience preferred
