As a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department at Windham Hospital, you will have the responsibility for effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Advanced Providers, Nursing Assistants, and administrative staff in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour supervision and leadership in the Emergency Department
• Ensure effective implementation of hospital and nursing department policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Director of the Emergency Department on patient care, human resource, and financial management
• Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment

Requirements

• Current RN License in the State of Connecticut
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Minimum five years of recent, progressive acute care nursing experience
• Previous Nursing Leadership experience
