About the Emergency Department The Emergency Department at Windham Hospital is equipped with 23 beds and a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Advanced Providers, and Nursing Assistants. Our highly skilled staff provides care to a wide range of patients, from traumas to behavioral health needs. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, initiative, and strong cohesiveness as a team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Job Summary: As the Nurse Manager (RN) of the Emergency Department, you will have 24-hour responsibility for the effective implementation of the hospital's philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures in the unit. Reporting to the Director of the Emergency Department, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. In addition, you will have authority over patient care, human resources, and financial management on the unit.

Qualifications:

• Current RN License in the State of Connecticut
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Minimum five years of recent, progressive acute care nursing experience
• Previous nursing leadership experience
