Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our Cardiology team. As a Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating all clinical functions and delivering exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position based in Port Chester, NY.

• Job Shift: Shift 1 (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a variety of clinical settings
• Coordinate all clinical functions and nursing practice
• Maintain standards of care related to the delivery of patient care
• Serve as a collaborative resource and program leader
• Perform clerical and clinical duties including patient education, cardiac stress testing, patient assessment and communication, staff training, and routine competency assessments
• Demonstrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of patients and families
• Assist with the daily coordination of patient care to facilitate efficient patient flow
• Delegate and supervise work to ensure delivery of exceptional care
• Assist the healthcare team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort

Requirements:

• Experience in cardiology is strongly preferred
• Current Connecticut RN License is required
• Previous experience working in a medical facility in a coordinator or lead role is preferred
• Experience with medical software
