Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Job Schedule: Shift 1
  • Standard Hours: 40
  • Location: New Haven, CT

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing complex problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument issues
  • Following established protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintaining a safe laboratory environment and complying with OSHA and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university
  • Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a technologist in a clinical laboratory
  • ASCP or equivalent categorical/generalist certification
  • Ability to adopt H3W Leadership behaviors and become a strong H3W ambassador
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
