Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the Psychiatric Emergency Services Program
• Establish and maintain relationships with the Department of Psychiatry, community providers, and other hospital departments
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Provide leadership and clinical supervision for the Psychiatric Emergency Services staff
• Maintain effective communication and decision-making authority
• Ensure patient safety and optimal care

Requirements:

• Current CT clinical license: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist
• Master's degree in mental health discipline (social work, psychology, counseling, or marriage & family therapy)
• Minimum 5 years of psychotherapy experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills
