Summary

Hartford HealthCare is currently seeking a Manager Nursing Coordinator (RN) for Behavioral Health Services. This is a per diem position located in Pomfret, CT.

Natchaug Hospital, part of the Hartford HealthCare network, is the leading provider for children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions in Eastern Connecticut. We offer a range of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools, and chemical dependency services. As a Manager Nursing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the supervision of all nursing staff and patient care related activities, as well as the communication and escalation of staff, patient, and facility-related safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Communicate and escalate safety concerns regarding staff, patients, and facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Valid Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in computer skills and keyboarding
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
