PGS is a multi-disciplinary behavioral health practice with nearly 30 years of dedicated service. Our team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and nurse practitioners provides quality mental health care to over 300 long-term care facilities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. We are committed to delivering exceptional care both in-person and through telehealth.

Position Overview

As a Licensed Psychologist at PGS, you will provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities, including nursing homes and assisted care facilities. You will have the opportunity to offer individual and family counseling, coordinate care with facility staff, and deliver educational talks. We prioritize your career development and offer support and resources along with our mentoring program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family counseling
  • Offer on-site assistance at nursing homes, assisted care, and similar facilities
  • Consult with facility staff to coordinate care
  • Deliver periodic educational talks
  • Adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment

Requirements

  • State License as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Availability to work during core business hours (M-F, 8-6p ET)
  • Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
