Summary: PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team in Solomons, MD. As a clinician-owned behavioral health practice, PGS specializes in delivering mental health services to residents of long-term care facilities. Position Details: In this role, you will provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities, including nursing homes and assisted care facilities. You will offer individual and family counseling, provide on-site assistance, and collaborate with facility staff to coordinate care. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to deliver educational talks and adhere to established regulations and procedures. PGS prioritizes your career development and offers a comprehensive mentoring program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and family counseling
  • Offer on-site assistance at nursing homes, assisted care, and similar facilities
  • Consult with facility staff to coordinate care
  • Deliver periodic educational talks
  • Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment

Requirements:

  • State License as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Availability to work during core business hours (M-F, 8-6pm ET)
  • Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
  • Physical ability to stand for 20 minutes and lift 15 pounds
