With our team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and nurse practitioners, we provide quality care to over 300 facilities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.
Position Overview:
As a Licensed Psychologist at PGS, you will provide individual and family counseling, offer on-site assistance at nursing homes and assisted care facilities, consult with facility staff to coordinate care, and deliver periodic educational talks. This role offers meaningful work, flexibility, and autonomy while making a difference in the lives of seniors in our community. We prioritize your career development and provide mentoring and support as you grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family counseling
- Offer on-site assistance at nursing homes, assisted care, and similar facilities
- Consult with facility staff to coordinate care
- Deliver periodic educational talks
- Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment
Requirements:
- State License as a Licensed Psychologist
- Availability to work during core business hours (M-F, 8-6p ET)
- Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 20 minutes
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
