Job Summary:

As a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician in Utilization Management, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department, making recommendations, and coordinating care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. You will work collaboratively with the emergency department team to respond to crisis calls and ensure patients receive appropriate care.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Current CT license - LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or LPC
• Master’s degree in mental health discipline
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
