Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician to join our team in the Utilization Management department. As a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department and assist in the coordination of care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department

• Make recommendations and assist in the coordination of care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs

• Collaborate with the emergency department team to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care

• Respond to crisis calls and provide appropriate interventions

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments and interventions

Qualifications:

• Current CT license - LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or LPC required

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline required

• Minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role

• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
