Job Summary

As a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department. Your role will involve making recommendations and coordinating care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. You will work collaboratively with the emergency department team and respond to crisis calls. This is a per diem role with variable shift coverage based on availability, with a minimum requirement of 16 hours per month.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Current CT license with LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • Master's degree in a mental health discipline
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
