Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department
  • Assist in the coordination of care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs
  • Collaborate with the emergency department team to ensure holistic patient care
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide necessary support

Qualifications

  • Current CT license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Master's degree in a mental health discipline
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
