Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician to join our Behavioral Health Services team. As a Licensed Clinician, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department, making recommendations and coordinating care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. Job Details:

  • Job Schedule: Full Time
  • Standard Hours: 40
  • Job Shift: Shift 2

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department
  • Assist in the coordination of care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs
  • Collaborate with the emergency department to provide appropriate care
  • Respond to crisis calls

Qualifications:

  • Current CT license LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or LPC
  • Master’s degree in mental health discipline required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
