Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician to join our Behavioral Health Services team. As a Licensed Clinician, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and care coordination for patients presenting with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. In this role, you will collaborate with the emergency department team and respond to crisis calls.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department
• Make care recommendations and assist in care coordination for patients
• Collaborate with the emergency department team
• Respond to crisis calls

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Current CT license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Master's degree in a mental health discipline
• Minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
