Role and Responsibilities: As an LPN/LVN at Encompass Health, you will have the opportunity to make a difference every day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Providing direct care to patients, implementing care plans, and observing patients' behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Working with a diverse range of diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, joint replacements, fractures, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions.
• Assisting patients in reaching their goals of discharge and return to their families, communities, and lives.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• One or more years of experience within an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.
