Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Provide direct care to patients, carrying out their plans of care and observing their behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Work with patients on various diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, joint replacements, fractures, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions
• Help patients work towards their goals of being discharged and returning to their lives, families, and communities

Requirements:

• Current licensure as an LPN/LVN appropriate to state regulations
• Current CPR certification
• One or more years of experience within an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting preferred
• Rehabilitation experience preferred
