Summary:

Encompass Health is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)/Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team. We have full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available, with options for day, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Provide direct patient care, implement care plans, and observe patient behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Work with patients with various diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, joint replacements, fractures, trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions
• Assist patients in achieving goals of discharge and returning to their families and communities

Requirements:

• Current LPN/LVN licensure appropriate to state regulations
• Current CPR certification
• 1+ years of experience within an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting preferred
• Rehabilitation experience is a plus
