Summary: Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Behavioral Health team in the East Region. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with addiction and mental health needs. Details:

  • Job Schedule: Part-time
  • Standard Hours: 32
  • Job Shift: Shift 3
  • Shift Details: Wednesday - Saturday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with registered nurses, BHH Specialists, Peer Recovery Specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and effective nursing care
  • Coordinate patient care, including education on chronic conditions, medication management, health promotion, and wellness
  • Work closely with the BHH team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care
  • Report to nursing services and contribute to the overall success of the program

Requirements:

  • Completion of a licensed LPN program
  • Valid CT LPN license
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, Psychiatric, or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred
  • CPR certified within six months of employment
