As an LPN, you will work closely with patients, providing them with direct care, observing their behavior and vital signs, and working towards their goals of returning to their lives, families, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Provide direct care to patients and carry out their plans of care.
• Work with a wide range of diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, joint replacement, fractures, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions.
• Help patients work towards goals of being discharged and regaining independence.

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferably one or more years of experience within an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting.
• Rehabilitation experience is a plus.
