As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care that leads to real, positive results. Paired with mentors who encourage your growth, you will be an important part of an interdisciplinary team at Encompass Health, a national post-acute care leader.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Provide direct care to patients and observe their behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Work with a wide range of diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions
• Help patients work toward goals of being discharged and returning to their lives, families, and communities

Requirements

• Current LPN licensure appropriate to state regulations
• Current CPR certification
• One or more years of experience within an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting preferred
• Rehabilitation experience preferred
