We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team at PsychoGeriatric Services in Annandale, VA. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to provide psychotherapy services to seniors in long-term care facilities, both in-person and through telehealth. PsychoGeriatric Services is a clinician-owned, multi-disciplinary behavioral health practice with nearly 30 years of dedicated service. We specialize in delivering mental health services to residents of long-term care facilities, and our team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and nurse practitioners provides quality care to over 300 facilities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing individual and family counseling, offering on-site assistance at nursing homes and assisted care facilities, and collaborating with facility staff to coordinate care. You will have the opportunity to deliver educational talks and adhere to established regulations and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.

At PsychoGeriatric Services, we prioritize the well-being of our employees. Full-time positions offer a competitive salary of up to $124,800 annually, with part-time positions paying $60 per hour. Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family counseling
  • Offer on-site assistance at nursing homes, assisted care, and similar facilities
  • Consult with facility staff to coordinate care
  • Deliver periodic educational talks
  • Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment

Requirements

  • State License as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Availability to work during core business hours (M-F, 8-6p ET)
  • Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
  • Physical ability to stand for 20 minutes and lift 15 pounds
