Summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Lead Primary Therapist to join our team. As a leading provider of mental health and substance abuse treatment services in Eastern Connecticut, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and provide comprehensive therapy to support their recovery and well-being.

As a Lead Primary Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy. You will also perform case management services, provide extensive documentation and case coordination, and oversee day-to-day program operations and staff in the absence of the Director of Social Work and Program Director.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy
  • Perform case management services
  • Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations and staff
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a behavioral health and/or substance abuse population
  • Connecticut licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or Psychologist
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer and keyboarding skills
