Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead CT Technologist to join our Radiology department at Hartford HealthCare. As a Lead CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. You will participate in complex invasive CT examinations and provide clinical expertise and education to the CT department. This is a full-time position with standard hours of 36 per week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures using correct exposure factors and scan fields
• Produce technically accurate cross-sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment
• Assist the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT examinations
• Provide oversights for off-shift or off-site cases
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards

Requirements:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
• Certified Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT-R or ARRT-CT acceptable
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
