  • Job Shift: Shift 1

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client care using individual, group, and family therapy tailored to each client's needs.
  • Prepare accurate and thorough medical documentation that meets regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and plan care by evaluating psychiatric and psychosocial needs, advocating for appropriate resources.
  • Deliver in-home clinical services and crisis intervention to clients and families.
  • Educate clients and family members on available resources and support groups.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure an integrated delivery of healthcare.
  • Conduct emergency evaluations for clients in the community, if necessary.
  • Assume clinical oversight in the absence of the program manager.
  • Lead and participate in administrative activities, team meetings, and staff education.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric and substance abuse populations.
  • Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Valid CT driver's license.
  • Active Connecticut LCSW, LPC, LADC, or LMFT license.
