Responsibilities:

• Operate digital equipment to produce accurate images of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain sterile technique and assemble sterile trays as necessary.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure all relevant patient information is captured in the electronic medical record.
• Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment to ensure high performance.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist, with 1-2 years' IR experience preferred.
