Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, located in Torrington, Connecticut, is a 122-bed general acute care community hospital. Serving as a regional healthcare resource for the residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut, our hospital offers state-of-the-art technology, a comfortable patient environment, and expert caregivers who provide personalized attention. Responsibilities

  • Operate digital equipment and perform complex invasive procedures
  • Position patients and prepare contrast media
  • Assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment
  • Work with various imaging modalities
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures performed
  • Input procedural information into electronic medical records
  • Obtain relevant patient information
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
  • Perform quality assurance testing on equipment
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
