Summary:
Encompass Health is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hemodialysis RN to join our team. As a Hemodialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis. You will also supervise the care and treatment provided by LPNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff members on the assigned unit and shift. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
- Supervise care, treatment, and services provided by LPNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on the assigned unit and shift.

- Create individualized plans of care reflective of patient needs and goals.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
- CRRN certification preferred.
- Minimum of six months of dialysis nursing experience required.
- One year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Physical Requirements:
- Visual acuity, speech recognition, and speech clarity.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds, including medical supplies and equipment, and transfer and reposition patients.
- Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking.
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch for patient care functions and setting up and monitoring equipment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Active listening and strong interpersonal skills.
- Information ordering, deductive reasoning, social perceptiveness, time management, and critical thinking.
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
- Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
Environmental Conditions:
- Indoor, temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment.
- Handicapped accessible.
- May work under stressful circumstances at times.
Proficiency or Productivity Standards:
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Adherence to dress code, including wearing ID badge.
- Adherence to Standards of Business Conduct.
- May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings, and/or night shifts if needed to meet deadlines.
- May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
