Summary:

Encompass Health is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hemodialysis RN to join our team. As a Hemodialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis. You will also supervise the care and treatment provided by LPNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff members on the assigned unit and shift. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervise care, treatment, and services provided by LPNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on the assigned unit and shift.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Minimum of six months of dialysis nursing experience required.
• One year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Physical Requirements:

• Visual acuity, speech recognition, and speech clarity.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds, including medical supplies and equipment, and transfer and reposition patients.
• Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch for patient care functions and setting up and monitoring equipment.

• Information ordering, deductive reasoning, social perceptiveness, time management, and critical thinking.
