Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Coordinate patient discharge planning
- Assess patients' needs and provide individualized care
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
- Participate in interdisciplinary patient rounds
- Develop and revise individualized plans of care
- Participate in professional growth and development activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current Connecticut RN license
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred
- Two years of Medical-Surgical/Critical Care experience preferred
