  • Job Shift: Shift 3
  • Shift Details: Graduate nurse requisitions, 3 shifts per week from 7p-7:30a, every third weekend and holiday

Located in New Haven, CT, MidState Medical Center is a dynamic organization focused on providing high-quality healthcare services. We have been recognized for our excellence in stroke care and organ donation, and our cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation programs are led by industry leaders.

As a Nurse at Hartford HealthCare, you will work in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients and their families.

We are currently hiring highly motivated Nurses to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. This 28-bed unit consists of private rooms and serves a diverse patient population with Medical/Surgical conditions. With advanced technology and a supportive interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and contribute to the patient's well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to develop comprehensive care plans for patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements:

  • ASN/BSN
  • New graduates are welcome to apply and will work under supervision per State guidelines
