Responsibilities
As a Graduate Nurse on the Medical Telemetry/Stroke Unit, you will work in collaboration with a strong interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will utilize evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop a plan of care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions
- Administering medications and treatments
- Interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Education Requirements: ASN/BSN
- Active RN licensure in the state of Connecticut
- BLS certification
