At Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Moun, we are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Goodwill Assistant Manager to join our team in Butte, MT. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting all retail and production operations to achieve maximum sales potential. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership skills and a passion for creating a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in day-to-day operations and perform management tasks in their absence
• Conduct regular staff meetings to improve communication and provide training
• Develop a superior workforce through coaching conversations and development plans
• Review production results and monitor staff productivity to establish standards and goals
• Ensure accurate use of staffing model for scheduling and forecasting
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports related to HR, Safety/Asset Protection, and Accounting
• Take responsibility for store performance in areas such as revenue, payroll, and controllable expenses

Requirements

• Sensitive to guest needs and wishes
• Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or other special needs preferred
• Proficient in computer use and various software applications
• Previous experience in profit and loss, sales, or cost management is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
• Physically and mentally capable of performing all job requirements
• Lift and carry 20-100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance
• Stand, stoop, bend, carry, and walk for extended periods
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, longer shifts, and travel if required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must pass DMV check and background check

Experience

0-2 years retail or comparable management experience
