Position Summary

As the Director of Journey House, you will be responsible for program operations, quality improvement, fiscal management, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with organizational leadership, community and state agencies, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional care and the achievement of program goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficiency and quality of intake, service provision, and discharge processes
  • Provide oversight and direction for clinical programming
  • Develop and manage program budget in collaboration with Finance
  • Maintain compliance with relevant licensing and accreditation standards
  • Monitor and report on quality improvement indicators
  • Foster collaborative relationships with hospital, community, and statewide agencies
  • Serve as a resource to the leadership team and medical staff
  • Uphold contract provisions and participate in union negotiations
  • Provide leadership and management for direct reports

Qualifications

  • Current CT licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or psychologist
  • Master's Degree in Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse field
  • Five plus years of experience working with an adolescent behavioral health population
  • Five plus years of progressive clinical and administrative leadership experience
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical treatment modalities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
