Hartford HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures according to department protocols
• Input data into the RIS system and transfer images into PACS
• Obtain relevant patient information and explain procedures to patients
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Start intravenous sites and inject intravenous contrast
• Participate in department quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of hire required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one year of CT Technologist experience preferred
