Position Summary
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. This includes selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images. The CT Technologist will also participate in complex invasive CT examinations, assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant and producing CT images.
Qualifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
- CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
