Hartford HealthCare is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. As a CT Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all technical aspects of Radiologic Technology exams according to department procedures and protocols. Job Details
- Job Schedule: Part Time
- Standard Hours: 24
- Job Shift: Shift 2
- Shift Details: Three week rotating schedule.
- Week 1: Mon 3:30pm-11:30pm, Tues & Sat 4pm-12am.
- Week 2 & Week 3: Mon 3:30pm-11:00pm, Wed & Fri 4pm-12am.
- Rotating call and holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
- Perform all technical aspects of Radiologic Technology exams according to department procedures and protocols.
- Process requisitions and record patient information.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a JCERT accredited program for Radiologic Technologists.
- Experience: No additional experience necessary beyond clinical internship. One year experience in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Licensure & Certification: Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Current State of Connecticut Radiographer license or, if a new graduate, pending State of Connecticut Radiographer license. BLS within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
- Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use).
- Working knowledge of Radiologic Technology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians, and managers.
- Must be organized, flexible, and a team player.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong commitment to customer service and discretion.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and take appropriate action in response to changes, circumstances, or problems.
