About Natchaug Hospital's Journey House Program
Natchaug Hospital, located in Eastern Connecticut, is a leading provider of mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, and adults. The Journey House program is a specialized residential treatment facility for adolescent girls with behavioral health needs referred through the juvenile justice system. Our program offers evidence-based treatment modalities delivered in individual, group, and family settings. We emphasize collaboration with residents and their families to develop personalized discharge plans that support ongoing recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy
- Perform case management services
- Coordinate discharge planning, including therapy, medication management, and primary care
- Oversee day-to-day program operations in the absence of the Director
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience working with a mental health and/or chemical dependency population
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Connecticut licensure required within 2 years of hire
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or Psychologist preferred
- Valid driver's license required based on program
- Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required
