Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical support and mentorship to registered nurses
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and educators to develop educational plans
• Assess and prioritize patient flow issues
• Lead and participate in rapid responses and codes during off-shifts
• Address and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of critical care and/or emergency department work experience within the past 4 years
• At least 3 years of unit specific experience and charge nurse role preferred
• Current State of CT licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Current healthcare BLS Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Specialty certification as appropriate to the assigned work strongly preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
