Role Overview

As a Clinical Coordinator Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services. You will work collaboratively with pharmacy leadership to provide optimal pharmaceutical care and promote safe and cost-effective practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drug literature to compare and contrast therapeutic regimens and roles for new drugs.
• Provide support to staff pharmacists and clinical specialists to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care committees and engage in projects to enhance clinical pharmacy services.
• Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the value of pharmacy clinical services.
• Coordinate ongoing clinical education for pharmacy staff and other caregivers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of health-system pharmacist experience.
• 1+ year of experience in a pharmacy leadership position or as a clinical pharmacist.
• Registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible for licensure.
